[i]Dragon Quest IV[/i] is the fourth installment of the [i][[Dragon Quest]][/i] video game series, and the last to appear on the [[Famicom]]. The game is divided into five chapters, each introducing one or more of the main characters and the final chapter gathering them together under the Hero/Heroine's leadership. The main female characters are [[alena_(dq4)|Alena]], [[Minea (dq4)|]] and [[Manya (dq4)|]]; there is also the option for a [[Heroine (DQ4)|female protagonist]]. A rarely drawn side character is [[Lucia (DQ)|Lucia]], who is a temporary party late in the game. Another is [[Cynthia (DQ4)|Cynthia]], an elf girl who is the Hero/Heroine's childhood friend. DQ4 introduced the [[Dancer's Costume (DQ)|Dancer's Costume]] and is the only Dragon Quest game to feature the [[Pink Leotard (DQ)|Pink Leotard]]. The game has been remade for the [[Playstation]], [[Nintendo DS]], and iOS/Android. The DS port is subtitled "Chapters of the Chosen" in English. The remakes also add an optional 6th chapter. h4.
