[[pokemon|Pokémon]] #303 in the National PokéDex, a dual type Steel/Fairy Pokémon. Before Generation VI, it was a pure Steel type Pokémon. Mawile is known for its deceivingly cute face, its yellow body, its imitation of [[hakama pants]] on its legs, and its most notable feature, a giant set of jaws that rests upon its head. It can [[mega pokemon|mega evolve]] into [[Mega Mawile]] with a [i]Mawilite[/i]. Mega Mawile looks similar to Mawile, except it has pink colorations and markings on its body (while the markings on its head stay black). It grows nearly a foot (0.4 meters) in height, becomes more bulky in appearance, and grows a second jaw on its head (with both jaws becoming curved and jagged). In battle, this gives it the ability [b]Huge Power[/b], which effectively (with the slight boost to it base attack from Mega Evolving) gives it the highest attack stat in the entire game. This, along with its Fairy typing, has spawned a multitude of jokes, stating that Mawile is not only a Dragon slayer, but a world destroyer as well.
