His signature Pokémon is an [[Alolan Marowak]]. Kiawe is a young man who studies the traditional dances of the Alola region, and dreams of becoming a professional fire dancer. The player can meet and battle him in the Battle Tree. In the [[pokemon (anime)|anime]], he is also one of [[ash ketchum|Ash]]'s classmates.
