A superhero from [[DC Comics]]. The alien from Planet Krypton, sent to Earth as an infant child. His birth name is Kal-El, and his adoptive parents name him [[Clark Kent]]. As living under a yellow sun grants Clark immense powers, such as hypersonic flight, nigh invulnerability, super strength, heat vision, a freezing breath, hypersensitive hearing, X-ray vision, and many others, he takes up the mantle of Superman - wearing a [[red cape]] and a [[blue_bodysuit|blue]] [[bodysuit|suit]] as he performs great [[superhero|heroic deeds]] around the Earth and in the city of Metropolis.
