A fictional [[mecha]] from the [[Macross]] series. It first appeared in [[Choujikuu Yousai Macross]] TV anime series from 1982. The [b]Viggers/Chrauler ADR-04-Mk X Defender[/b] [[destroid]] is an anti-[[aircraft]] defense robot system (mecha) created by the [[U.N. Spacy]] to fight the [[Zentradi]]. Designed for anti-aircraft operations in mind, the Defender featured two heavy and very potent double barrel automatic cannons for arms. The mecha also has two large ammunition drums (often mistaken for missile launchers) mounted on top of its main chassis. The Defender was designed by [[Miyatake Kazutaka]] in the early 80s.
