A fictional [[military]] sea ship from the [[MACROSS]] series. The [b]SLV-111 Daedalus Super-Large-Scale Semi-Submersible Assault Landing Vessel[/b] is a type of [[U.N. Spacy]] naval ship built as a semi-submersible assault carrier deployed by the U.N. Forces in the ocean surrounding [[South Ataria]] island. The ship's main feature was a collapsible ramp extending from the bow of the ship outward, designed to load the [[Destroid]] series mecha and then promptly sortie Destroids upon arrival at an enemy base. The Daedalus is 0.4 km long. It also serves as the SDF-1's Right Arm. In [[real life]] , this ship was designed by [[Miyatake Kazutaka]] in the early 80s. h4.
