A [[winter coat]] held shut with toggle-and-loop fasteners. The [[toggles]] are cone-like pegs that fit through large loops to hold the coat shut. This design is made to be easy to open and close while wearing gloves in winter. Duffel coats were originally made from duffel, a thick woolen fabric also used to make [[duffel bag]]s.
