A [[calico]] cat who usually accompanies [[kyon no imouto|Kyon's little sister]]. The name, in turn, comes from the name of [[shamisen|the Japanese traditional three-stringed guitar-like instrument]] which is usually played with a plectrum called a [[bachi]].
