A major antagonist of [[rwby|RWBY]]. CEO of the Schnee Dust Company, along with being the husband of [[Willow Schnee|]] and the father of [[Weiss Schnee|]], [[Winter Schnee|]] and [[Whitley Schnee|]]. A callous and manipulative businessman, his amoral actions are what causes the company to be seen in a bad light, including provoking his wife into alcoholism. He is the arch-enemy to Weiss, where she actively works to restore the previous and better reputation of the company. [spoilers]In Volume 7, Jacques wins the election for councilman after rigging the votes, with help from [[Arthur Watts|]]. However, his treachery is found and revealed by his own daughter and Jacques is arrested for his crimes.
