Tag type: General

A bikini whose upper bra component usually comprises breasts|breast coverings connected by strings. Often triangular in shape, these coverings may vary widely in size and may either be fixed or threaded around the strings to allow adjustable width (and therefore exposure). Also, the bottom brief component usually consists of two triangular shaped pieces connected at the sides by thin strings wrapping around the waist. The strings can be continuous or side-tie bikini bottom|tied. The rear piece may be only a string in the case of some thong_bikini|thong bikinis.

Should not be confused with micro bikini or thong bikini, though they can also be string bikinis.
