The main protagonist of the [i][[Ryuu ga Gotoku]][/i] series until his final playable appearance in [i][[Ryuu ga Gotoku 6]][/i]. An ex-[[yakuza]] who became known as the "Dragon of Dojima" because of his legendary achievements, Kiryuu is a stoic and serious yet kind man who tries to live a normal life alongside his adoptive daughter, [[Sawamura Haruka]] in which he acts as a father figure to alongside a group of orphans he helps take care of in an orphanage in Okinawa. Kiryuu has used several fighting styles in the games where he is playable, including his trademark Dragon of Dojima fighting style in the mainline games alongside the Brawler, Rush and Beast fighting styles that first appeared in [i][[Ryuu ga Gotoku 0]][/i].
