The protagonist of [[Juusenki L-Gaim]]. Daba is a young man who was entrusted by his grandfather with the custom-built Heavy Metal named [[L-Gaim]], and would later pilot it as he and his friends are constantly thrown into hairy situations. He is very friendly and somewhat of a womanizer, as he managed to passively bring [[Fanneria Amu]] and [[Gaw Ha Leecee]] to his side without any overt persuasion.
