[[canned_food|Canned]] Spiced [[Ham]] made by the Hormel company in 1937. Also made famous from a funny sketch by [[Monty Python]]. In Hawaii, it is used in "spam musubi", which is cooked Spam placed atop rice and wrapped in a band of nori. In South Korea, thanks to being introduced to Spam by American Forces during the Korean War, Spam is considered a luxury item by locals where it's a popular gift during holidays and family gatherings.
