V1 A type of [[noodles|noodle]] dish popular in Asian cultures, made by serving ramen noodles in beef or fish broth that is flavored with soy sauce or miso, and topped with a variety of items such as pork, seaweed and [[kamaboko]]. There are different flavor distinctions for ramen, such as shio (salty), tonkotsu (pork bone), shoyuu (soy), hiyashi (chilled) and miso.
