Wiki History Listing

V1 A cervical spine brace protects the bone in the neck after damage has occured. The soft type looks like a bulky cloth collar and is designed to provide support after an injury. The more recognizable rigid type is larger and is made with molded plastic to restrict neck movement during recovery from a fracture or surgery. Modified versions of the rigid-type brace are worn by athletes who participate in high-impact sports and auto racing to prevent injuries.
