[b]Kamen Rider[/b] (仮面ライダー), also known as Masked Rider, is a Japanese tokusatsu (special effects) franchise created by Shotaro Ishinomori. The plot generally involves at least one main character who possesses the ability to transform and does battle with monsters and organizations that are somehow related to his origin. Riders are typically identified by their insect-like features such as their compound eyes and antenna.
