He is confused and frightened by urban life and modern technology, but loves [[soft serve]] [[ice cream]]. He carries his belongings on his back in a [[furoshiki]], and in [[Youkai Watch 2]] also carries a [[coin purse]]. He can appear as a human by putting a [[leaf on head|leaf on his head]]. He frequently uses the word [i]mongee[/i] (meaning "amazing"/"extremely"/"wow!", similar to [i]sugoi[/i]) and ends sentences with [i]zura[/i]. h4.
