V1 [b]Linux[/b] is a generic term referring to a family of Unix-like [[computer]] operating systems based on the GNU userland (or others) with the Linux kernel, i.e. GNU/Linux. [[Tux]] is its mascot, and serves as the logo for any distributions based off of the Linux kernel.
