The personification of the second [i]Ning Hai[/i]-class light cruiser, [i]Ping Hai[/i], in [[Azur Lane]]. Her name (平海) means "amicable sea". Historically, she was to be built in the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai to plans supplied by the Japanese from building [i]Ning Hai[/i], but rising tensions between the two countries delayed her construction and completion to 1937. Also unlike her sister, [i]Ping Hai[/i] did not have a seaplane complement and carried smaller-caliber AA guns. Adding to the problems is that like [[Yuubari (Azur Lane)|]] that they were patterned after, they suffered from the same seakeeping deficiencies common to treaty-skirting Japanese warships of their time. h4.
