Wiki History Listing

V1 Solid body [[electric guitar]], made and produced by American [[instrument]] maker [[Fender]] since 1954.

Designs and prototypes were made around 1953 which were subsequently set into production without minor changes including colors and finishes. Noted and recognised as a revolutionary and innovative guitar at the time, the Stratocaster instantly became renown worldwide and arguably has since became the most well-known and popular electric guitar ever, used in basically every modern musical genre similar to its brother the [[Fender telecaster]], with musicians like [[Yngwie Malmsteen]], [[Eric Clapton]] and [[Jimi Hendrix]] being some of the most recognisable owners.

In Japanese animation, [[Iwasama masami]] of [[Angel Beats!]] and [[Hanazono Tae]] of [[Bang Dream!]] are two of the most prominent players, the latter using a Strat made by [[ESP Guitars]].

Features a unique contour body with double cutaway, triple single-coil setup as standard, three control knobs and tremolo bridge. Akin to the Telecaster, an endless amount of versions and configurations exist, but the base design stays the same.
