[[Zentradi]] one-man tactical aerospace [[power armor]] that first appeared in the [[Macross Frontier]] TV series from 2008. It is very similar to the [[Queadluun-Rau]] [[power suit]] from [[Choujikuu Yousai Macross]] and [[Macross: Do You Remember Love?]]. However, this [[mecha]] is even faster and has an additional long-range beam [[cannon]] on its left shoulder (like the [[Nousjadeul-Ger]] [[power armor]]), giving it more anti-capital ship capabilities. The Rea was developed by the [[N.U.N.S.]] for the Zentradi ally fleets. The latest type ([i]Rea/56[/i]) is deployed with Zentradi immigration fleets and planetary migration missions. This is the mecha of choice for [[Klan Klein]] and the [[Meltrandi]] [[S.M.S.]] Pixie Squadron. In [[real life]] the Rea was designed by Ishikagi Junya based on the original 80s design by [[Miyatake Kazutaka]]. h4.
