Héctor is a charming trickster in the Land of the Dead who enlists [[miguel rivera|Miguel]] to help him visit the Land of the Living. He's portrayed as a walking [[skeleton]] with [[short hair|short]] [[black hair]], a [[goatee]] and [[brown eyes]]. He wears tattered clothes, a [[bandana]] and a [[straw hat]]. [spoiler]As it turns out, he's the patriarch of the Rivera family and Miguel's great-grandfather. He was married to [[Imelda Rivera]] and he's the father of [[Mama Coco]].
